Robert Langford

President
Robert Langford is the Owner/President of Med-Scene, L.L.C. His areas of expertise are video production, satellite transmission, and the production of large, technically demanding, audio visual events. His is current focus on the field of medical education. He produces and coordinates the transmission of live medical procedures from over a hundred hospitals and clinics located around the World. His work includes two of the world’s largest medical meetings – The American College of Cardiology annual meeting and the “Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics” meeting, each held annually in various cities around the country. The “TCT” meeting also ranks as one of the world’s largest, and most technically challenging, audio visual events. Mr. Langford holds a degree in Broadcast Communications, and has twenty-five years of hands-on experience in the fields of video and event production. Other projects have led him to work on Capitol Hill, at the White House and in numerous other locations around the country – and the world. While in college, Mr. Langford organized concerts and events for the student body. After college, he worked for a small film and video production company and an event production company. In 1998, he was hired by Med-Scene, L.L.C., to coordinate and produce medical meetings with the extensive use of live case satellite transmissions. In 2004 he purchased the company and is currently assisting numerous organizations, medical facilities and meeting venues in the production of highly technical media events, and upgrading their technical infrastructure to meet the demands of new media-related technologies.
